Sarah Spearman is senior editor for nonprofit intelligence at the Chronicle of Philanthropy, where she develops resources for nonprofit leaders. Before joining the Chronicle, Sarah spent three decades in the nonprofit sector, holding executive leadership roles and working across fundraising, communications, marketing, and community engagement. Based in the southwest, she remains actively involved in her local nonprofit community.
