Sejal Desai is the executive director at Akanksha Education Fund. She served for more than six years with the American India Foundation’s Dallas Fort Worth Leadership Council. Her 30-year career includes work in sectors such as venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, and corporate social responsibility. Before joining Akanksha, she worked at the Communities Foundation of Texas, where she led a strategic initiative focused on engaging businesses in the community. She is the co-chair of the Steering Committee of India Giving Day.
