Boston Museum Raises $500-Million

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, has transformed itself from a cash-strapped institution plagued by internal conflict into a robust organization that has just successfully completed a $500-million fund-raising campaign, reports The Boston Globe in its special Giving Issue.

Under director Malcolm Rogers, the museum created a database of potential donors, curated more contemporary exhibitions, and balanced its budget.
