California Foundation Appoints News Leader
July 20, 2007
The East Bay Community Foundation, in Oakland, Calif., has appointed Nicole Taylor, managing director of the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University, as its chief executive.
The appointment marks a return to the foundation for Ms. Taylor, who previously worked there as an executive, reports the San Francisco Business Times.
She succeeds Michael Howe who is now the chair of the National Task Force on Community Leadership at Stanford’s John W. Gardner Center.
The foundation is suing the father of a donor who left millions to the grant maker from his estate, according to The Chronicle.
