Clinton Foundation Receives $100-Million Pledge

July 10, 2007

The William J. Clinton Foundation has announced a $100-million pledge from Lundin for Africa, the philanthropy of the Lundin Group of Companies, in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The gift will go to the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative, which works to provide poverty relief and promote sustainable local economies in developing countries. The money will be directed largely toward projects in Africa, where the company has gas, mining, and oil interests.
