Clinton Foundation Teams Up With Guidebook to Promote Harlem

The William J. Clinton Foundation and the city guide company Zagat Survey yesterday started a free guide to eating and shopping in Harlem in an effort to reverse the recession’s impact on area, Reuters reports.

The New York neighborhood that is home to former President Bill Clinton’s philanthropy has seen more than a third of its small businesses close since July 2008, said Lloyd Williams, president of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce.

The guide features ratings and reviews of 323 local restaurants, nightspots, shops, and attractions. It is available on the Clinton Foundation Web site.
