A conservative think tank in Delaware has dropped a lawsuit that had accused one of its major donors and three former executives with stealing confidential information.
A spokesman for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute confirmed that the institutue has withdrawn the suit, but would not comment on reasons behind the decision.
The lawsuit, which had been filed in October, had alleged that the donor and former executives had stolen a fund-raising database and internal documents as part of a covert effort to start a rival organization.
All four of those named in the suit — donor Jack Miller and former executives Michael Ratliff, Michael Andrews, and Michael Deshaies — had denied the claims.
