Editorial Survey: How Do You Use Online Social Networks to Hire Employees?

September 10, 2009 | Read Time: 1 minute

The Chronicle’s editorial staff is conducting a survey of people who hire nonprofit workers to determine how much they use social networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn to screen candidates for jobs, volunteer opportunities, and board seats.

We plan to use the results for an article we are writing and for a presentation by two of our editors — Heather Joslyn and Peter Panepento — at the Nonprofit HR Solutions Conference in Washington next month.

If you don’t handle hiring, we’d appreciate your passing this request on to the people in your organization who do.
