Focus on the Family Chief Has Praise for Obama

Jim Daly, president of the Christian conservative organization Focus on the Family, praised President Obama in an interview with The Washington Post and said he hoped to find “common ground” on contentious issues.
“I wish this president were a conservative. He’s an incredibly engaging person, and he’s hip,” said Mr. Daly. Mr. Daly became the public face of Focus on the Family after its founder, James Dobson, stepped down this year.
