Gates Foundation Helps Relocate Iraqi Scholars

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will provide $5-million to help more than 150 Iraqi scholars move to new countries, reports the Financial Times.

The program, called the Scholar Rescue Fund, helps academics facing threats to safely relocate to institutions in other countries where they can continue their work. Congress has approved giving the program another $5-million.
