Giving Becomes Part of Curriculum at Northeast Colleges

At least 10 New England colleges offer philanthropy courses through which students learn how to give away money by making grants with money that corporate and family foundations donate, according to The Boston Globe.
Professors say the philanthropy courses are in response to growing interest among young people in finding ways they can give back.
