Goodwill Employees Accused of Stealing Donated Items

Two new employees of the New Orleans chapter of Goodwill Industries International have been accused of taking donated items for their own use, reports The Times-Picayune.
The two women are accused of arranging a pickup from a family’s house and then taking the items to a personal residence instead of back to the charity. One of the women later confessed to her boss, according to the article. Both women are being held at the St. Tammany Parish jail awaiting trial. Neither was reached for comment by the newspaper.
