Medical Aviation Charity Assists in Hard-to-Reach Areas

Mission Aviation Fellowship, an Idaho charity, flies planes to provide HIV drugs, blankets, coal, food, medical transportation, and other services to poor people in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, reports The Sun, in Baltimore.

The Protestant charity was founded in 1945 and serves people in at least 26 countries, especially those who don’t have access to navigable roads. Its goal is to reach 300,000 people who otherwise wouldn’t receive medical attention.
