After two years of decline, grant makers in Minnesota increased their giving by 5 percent in 2003, according to a study by the Minnesota Council on Foundations, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal reports. Nationwide in 2003 foundations and corporations decreased their giving by 0.4 percent from 2002, the newspaper said.
