“Movember” Donors Grow Mustaches for Charity

The Prostate Cancer Foundation is asking men to become a “walking billboard” for their charity by growing mustaches this November, reports The Wall Street Journal.
The “Movember” effort — derived from “November” and “mo,” slang for mustache in Australia, where the idea started — has raised $8-million for charity in the past four years.
Men grow the mustache all month in exchange for donations and pledges from friends and family members. Movember takes place in the United States for the first time this year.
