New Grants: 188 Announcements Posted Today

The Chronicle has posted 188 announcements of new grants, listings that are exclusively available to subscribers to the newspaper and to its Guide to Grants. We are now posting such updates more regularly to help readers as they search for new sources of support.

Among the highlights of the grants just posted:

• The Kresge Foundation has awarded $250,000 to the Stockholm Environment Institute’s U.S. Center to study the economic implications of climate change.

• Carnegie Corporation of New York has awarded $400,000 to the Educational Broadcasting Corporation for a series to explore the ancestry and family stories of American ethnic groups.
