Got Your 6
Bill Rausch, political director for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, was named executive director of Got Your 6, a program of Be the Change that seeks to bridge the divide between civilians and military veterans and promote community leadership by veterans.
The new nonprofit leader, a former Army major, logged 10 years of service, including 17 months in Iraq.

Erik Altieri, who serves as the advocacy organization’s director of communications, was appointed president
Coastal Community Foundation
Darrin Goss Sr., chief executive of the Capital Area United Way, will be chief executive.
University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Foundation
Michael Delzotti, former senior director of philanthropic resources at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, was appointed chief executive.
Other notable changes:
Steven Hawkins, executive director of Amnesty International USA, has resigned.
Amy Latham, portfolio director of health coverage and health care at the Colorado Health Foundation, was promoted to vice president for philanthropy.
Legacies:
Douglas Tompkins, founder of the Conservation Land Trust, died on December 8 in Chile. He was 72. Mr. Tompkins was founder of the outdoor clothing company North Face.
