Rockefeller Foundation Provides $1-Million to Climate-Change Group

Under a $1-million grant from the Rockefeller Foundation, the Center for Capacity Building, a program that helps poor countries improve their resistance to floods, droughts, and other climate-related dangers, will move from the National Center for Atmospheric Research to the University of Colorado at Boulder, reports The New York Times.

The pending move comes weeks after the loss of government support for the program, which eliminated its $500,000 annual budget last month.
