Somali Gunmen Release Aid Workers After Nine-Month Captivity

Four employees of a French hunger charity who were held in captivity for nine months in Somalia have been released, says Bloomberg.
Two Frenchwomen, a Polish woman, and a Belgian man from the Paris-based Action Contre la Faim were abducted by Somali gunmen November 5 in the region’s capital of Dhuusamarreeb. The group’s two Kenyan pilots, who had also been held captive, were released, too.
