Leading With Care: How Women Around the World Are Inspiring Businesses, Empowering Communities, and Creating Opportunity
by Mary Cantando

Mary Catando, founder of WomenBusinessOwner.com, an organization that helps women start and develop businesses, shares anecdotes about women fighting discrimination, protecting the environment, and promoting education.

Stories of projects started with the help of the humanitarian organization CARE, or inspired by the group, are the focus of the book. It looks in particular at projects that benefit women in developing countries or programs led by women to encourage others to become self-sufficient.

One such story is that of Nada Dugas, a Syrian Procter & Gamble executive who carried out the company’s Protecting Futures program, a puberty-education program that reaches more than 10 million teenage girls.
