Textile Museum’s Director Resigns

The Textile Museum, in Washington, announced yesterday that Daniel Walker, its director of the past four years, is resigning his position at the museum this week, reports The Washington Post.
Mr. Walker cited the country’s financial crisis as one factor for his resignation. Mr. Walker previously worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, where he was director of the department of Islamic art.
