Twin Cities United Way Sees Small Increase in Donations

The Greater Twin Cities United Way’s year-end 2008 fund drive raised $88.9-million, $500,000 more than last year, the Star Tribune of Minneapolis reports.
United Way officials say that even though the results were good in the most-recent campaign, the continuing downturn will probably cause changing needs among the 200 organizations it supports and dampen prospects for its 2009 fall campaign.
