Update: Former Attorney General to Run Acorn Internal Probe

The embattled community-organizing group Acorn announced Tuesday that Scott Harshbarger, a former Massachusetts attorney general and ex-president of the advocacy group Common Cause, will oversee an in-house probe of the nonprofit agency, The Boston Globe reports.
Acorn launched the investigation following the release of hidden-camera videos that appeared to show staff members in Baltimore and Washington advising a pimp and a prostitute on starting a brothel, as well as subsequent Congressional votes to deny federal funds to the organization.
