Washington Post Fortune Will Benefit a New Foundation

The chairman of The Washington Post Company has transferred $77-million in stock to his wife as a first step in establishing a new foundation, reports The Post.

Donald E. Graham transferred 94,300 shares to Mary Graham, who will soon place them in a trust that she will administer. The trust shares will be converted later into a foundation. The causes the foundation will support have not yet been determined.
