Bits: A Discussion List for Women in Technology; a Volunteer Group Gets Noticed

Women in Nonprofits, Technology Assistance Providers –or WIN-TAP — is a new e-mail discussion list for women who help nonprofit groups deal with technology, either as an employee or as a volunteer. In its 2001 Best of the Bay issue, the San Francisco Bay Guardian named CompuMentor, a charity that provides technology assistance to other nonprofit groups, as Best Place to Volunteer After You’ve Been Laid Off.
