$10-Million Gift Caps UCLA Law School Campaign

A $10-million gift from the business entrepreneur Lowell Milken has pushed the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law past its $100-million goal for a fund-raising drive started three years ago, the Los Angeles Times writes.
The donation, the largest in the law school’s history, will establish the Lowell Milken Institute for Business Law and Policy.
Mr. Milken, a 1973 graduate of the UCLA law school, co-founded the early-education firm Knowledge Universe and leads the Milken Family Foundation, which focuses on improving the schools.
