$32-Million Gift Benefits King’s College London Law School

March 19, 2012

The law school at King’s College London will be renamed for a Hong Kong philanthropist who has pledged $31.7-million to the institution, says the BBC.

The gift from businessman Dickson Poon is the largest in the history of King’s College and is believed to be the biggest ever to a European law school.

The university will use the money to expand studies in the field of transnational law and support scholarships and new research positions.
