Blair Charity Links Up With Religious Groups for ‘Faith Offensive’

March 15, 2010

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s charity is developing ties with leading American religious figures in advance of an American “faith offensive,” the Guardian reports.

The Tony Blair Faith Foundation’s advisory council includes the Rev. Rick Warren, the California megachurch pastor, and David Coffey, president of the Baptist World Alliance. The foundation, which maintains headquarters in London, is a major focus of Mr. Blair’s activities since he left office in 2007; it promotes interfaith dialogue and cooperation on social and education projects.
