Charity Watchdog Relaxes Fund-Raising Rule: From The Chronicle

A major charity watchdog group announced Thursday that charities would not have to meet such stringent standards as they did in the past to prove they were spending the bulk of their donations on programs, The Chronicle of Philanthropy reports. The watchdog group said it recognized that the recession had made it impossible for many charities to meet strict standards.
