Ex-Hollywood Studio CEO Shifts Gears to Focus on Charity

Sherry Lansing, the former high-powered Hollywood executive, has focused full-time on philanthropy since leaving the movie industry, The New York Times writes in a profile of the former Paramount Pictures chief and her charity work.
After resigning from Paramount in 2005 at age 60, Ms. Lansing co-founded Stand Up to Cancer, which has raised $180-million for research and treatment and organized star-studded televised appeals that aired on the three biggest networks.
