Federal Drive Sees Slight Drop in Giving
April 22, 2011
Federal workers contributed slightly less to charity last year than they did in 2009 through the government’s workplace-giving drive, The Washington Post reports.
The Combined Federal Campaign raised $281.5-million in 2010 from federal workers, a drop from the $282.6-million collected in 2009.
Some 25,000 charities received gifts from federal workers through the campaign, according to the Office of Personnel Management.
