Historic-Preservation Trust Names New President

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, in Washington, announced today that Stephanie Meeks will be the organization’s next president.
Ms. Meeks is the head of Counterpart International, a $110-million development organization. Before that, she worked for 18 years at the Nature Conservancy, holding a number of senior positions, including a stint as the charity’s acting chief executive. She replaces Richard Moe, who announced his retirement last fall.
