Kidnapped Aid Workers in Pakistan Released

Three Mercy Corps workers in Pakistan who were held captive for roughly five months have now been released, reports The Seattle Times.

The news, while celebratory, was accompanied by mourning for a forth employee who was killed during the standoff, which began in February.

The charity, based in Portland, Ore., has been working in Pakistan since 1986.
