Trust Donates $40-Million Farmland to Indiana College

An Indiana farmer has bequeathed 7,634 acres of farmland to St. Joseph College, the Journal & Courier of Lafayette, Ind., writes.
Income generated from the property, valued at $40-million, will provide scholarships in the name of Juanita K. Waugh, an Indiana farmer who died in February.
The trust stipulates that a conservation easement be created to preserve forest, wildlife, and recreational facilities on the property.
